Getting alongside clients to help them achieve their strategic goals and start thinking outside of the box is what Chris enjoys most.

He's well placed to do this, having had a varied background of Chartered and Commercial accounting gained in the UK, South East Asia, and New Zealand. A highlight was a nine year stint in Papua New Guinea that involved a large poultry farm operation. Chris became a Director of Rutherfords in 2004.

Chris' specialities include Business Advice to small to medium businesses and Farm Accounting. He helps clients with business and tax planning, developing budgets and cash-flows, and establishing reporting systems. Chris also specialises in maximising the opportunities that cloud-based technology offers to his clients.

Chris is married to Denise and they have three grown up children. He likes sport, gardening challenges and having an input to his local church.
